- As a joint effort to celebrate Liverpool Capital of Culture our knitting group "Purlesque" presented a knitted Liver bird to ukhandknitting at Aintree.
- Contributions to the Hyperbolic crochet coral reef exhibited in London:
- I submitted 3 masks for The Liverpool Academy of Arts exhibition "The Scarlet Pimpernel" (April 2008) and won first prize.
- I signed up for the Gas Station project by the Fiber Collaborative. My panel is a garden made out of recycled plastic bags using crochet, knittig, knotting and fusing techniques
